Palm Beach State College (PBSC) is seeking enthusiastic and talented students to join our Internship Program for 2024. You'll work alongside faculty and staff on meaningful projects, contributing to the college's mission of student success
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will vary depending on the department placement. Examples may include:
- Assisting faculty with research projects and presentations.
- Supporting student services departments with tasks and initiatives.
- Contributing to marketing and outreach efforts (e.g., social media, events).
- Assisting with administrative tasks and projects within departments.
- Participating in data analysis and report generation.
- Providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at Palm Beach State College.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent).
- Strong commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and a positive work ethic.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience
- Prior internship experience in a professional setting (a plus).
- Volunteer experience in a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
