The Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to join our team as interns for the 2024 program. Assist with various departmental tasks depending on the specific placement, such as:

- Engineering: Assisting with project design, data analysis, or research related to power generation, transmission, or distribution.
- Operations: Supporting field operations, control room activities, or outage management.
- Customer Service: Contributing to customer outreach programs, data analysis, or administrative support.
- Sustainability: Participating in renewable energy initiatives, research, or data analysis.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in engineering, computer science, business administration, environmental science, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent).
- Strong interest in the energy industry and a desire to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior internship experience in a related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
