The Navy Exchange Internship Program is seeking motivated individuals to join our team for the summer of 2024. This program provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic retail environment and contribute to the mission of supporting the quality of life for Navy personnel and their families.
- Collaborate with various departments within the Navy Exchange, including retail, marketing, finance, and customer service.
- Assist in day-to-day operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer support.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of promotional events and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
- Support data entry, reporting, and analysis for key performance indicators.
- Participate in team meetings and presentations to enhance understanding of retail management.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Strong academic record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Enthusiasm for retail operations and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Prior retail experience or relevant coursework is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and retail operations is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
