The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is pleased to announce Graduate Internship Opportunities for students in 2024. This program provides graduate students with a unique chance to contribute to the enhancement of motor carrier safety and transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with FMCSA professionals on projects and initiatives related to motor carrier safety.
- Conduct research and analysis on transportation regulations and safety trends.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety programs.
- Support regulatory compliance efforts through data analysis and reporting.
- Provide administrative support and contribute to ongoing projects.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a relevant field (Transportation Management, Public Policy, Safety Management, etc.).

- Understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols is advantageous.
Experience
- Previous internship experience or coursework related to transportation safety is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with federal transportation regulations is a plus.
