Description
The DCMA Internship Program places you in a specific DCMA office based on your academic background, interests, and security clearance eligibility. You'll work on real-world projects under the guidance of experienced mentors in areas like:
- Security Investigations: Assist with investigations into potential security threats and vulnerabilities to classified information and technology.
- Industrial Security: Support efforts to ensure the security of the defense supply chain and protect sensitive information within contractor facilities.
- Counterintelligence: Contribute to initiatives that identify and counter foreign espionage activities that threaten U.S. security.
- Security Technologies: Explore the latest technologies used in counterintelligence, security assessments, and information security.
- Policy & Analysis: Assist with research and analysis to support the development and implementation of effective security policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assigned projects under the mentorship of experienced DCMA professionals.
- Conduct research, collect data, and prepare reports relevant to your internship area.
- Participate in meetings, briefings (if clearance permits), and potential site visits.
- Contribute to maintaining a professional and secure work environment.

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Must be a recent graduate (within the past 2 years) of a master's degree program in a relevant field such as security studies, international relations, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 required (requirement may vary).
- Strong interest in national security, counterintelligence, and security practices.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (security clearance level will vary depending on the internship).
Experience
- Prior internship or relevant work experience in security, government, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- A strong academic background demonstrates your potential for success.
