Description

The Air Force Graduate Student Internship Program offers exceptional graduate students the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to critical projects within the United States Air Force. As an intern, you will work alongside leading experts in various fields, assisting in research, analysis, and innovation to support the Air Force's mission of defending the nation and its interests.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Air Force personnel on research projects and initiatives spanning a wide range of disciplines, including aerospace engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, intelligence analysis, and more.
  • Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and simulations to support ongoing research efforts.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies, strategies, and solutions to address challenges facing the Air Force.
  • Participate in seminars, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in relevant areas.
  • Present findings and recommendations to Air Force leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a master's or doctoral program in a relevant field such as Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Political Science, International Relations, or a related discipline.
Experience
  • Prior experience in research, analysis, or project management is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence and a strong interest in national security and defense issues.
Skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software relevant to your field of study.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and technologies.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance purposes.
